I am returning to the Ecole Lesage to complete a goldwork study!  

September - December, 2017
I am on leave from the Alberta University of the Arts (formerly ACAD) to study couture embroidery at the Ecole Lesage in Paris, France with funding
​from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and the Alberta University of the Arts. 

March 28 2017
Leading an introductory workshop on embroidery for Fibre students at ACAD.  I will demonstrate the Tambour or Lunéville hook
as well as introduce students to some new stitches and materials.

The Alberta University of Arts (ACAD) officially launched their new MFA in Craft Media, and is now accepting application
for Fall 2015!  More information about the program can be found here!

January 2015
"Fur Suite"  is featured in the fourth edition of La Vague.  The journal is edited by Jennifer Pilch and this edition is titled Negative Exempla.  
The photo-etchings are presented alongside the work of eight contemporary women poets.  It's an honour to be part of this project!

Nov 1 -  30 2014
Fur Poems is in the exhibit Strung Out & Undone at the Living Arts Centre as part of the WORLD OF THREADS Festival in Oakville and Mississauga.

August 2014 - 2016
I installed the interactive audio installation An Archive of Beautiful Memories in Point Pleasant Park, Halifax, Nova Scotia.  The archive was inspired by student memoirs written on "something beautiful" as part of a course I led on Visual Culture at NSCAD University.  In collaboration, Rebecca Hannon has installed eight beautiful porcelain sculptures in-situ.  Opening is at the Gatekeepers House, Saturday August, 2 from 1:30-4pm, rain or shine.

July 26 thru Sept. 6 2014
Prints from "Fur Fable" were selected as part of the SHY RABBIT PRINT INTERNATIONAL 5 exhibition.
The work will be at SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts Gallery in Pagosa Springs, Colorado from July 26 thru Sept. 6, 2014.

April 16 - May 13 2014
Work from my drawings series "Enlisted Dogs" was selected to be part of DRAWN First Annual Exhibition of Contemporary Drawing at MANIFEST GALLERY
in Cincinnati, Ohio.
